The Butler Philharmonic Chorus

The Butler Philharmonic Chorus is the official choral ensemble of the Butler Philharmonic Orchestra. This mixed ensemble of some 90 voices rehearses weekly at Zion Lutheran Church, 212 South Front St. in Hamitlon. The chorus performs 5-6 times per year and is a staple at events like the Majesty of Christmas concert, American Masters, Ohio Mozart Festival, Open Door Pantry Benefit and pops programs, and it has presented sung choral-orchestral masterworks including Mozart’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Verdi’s Requiem.

Under the direction of Paul Stanbery, the BPO Chorus enjoys a reputation far beyond the Tri-State. Described as “fabulous, and highly professional in sound and work ethic” by conductor Dennis Simons of the Shreveport Symphony, the chorus is the pride of the Butler County’s vocal arts community.

Interested singers are encouraged to audition. For more information or to schedule an audition, call 513-895-5151 or email info@butlerphil.org.
